Through years of creating immersive content for HBO, AMC and other clients, we’ve developed a guiding principle...

THE VIEWER IS THE HERO

That means action happens at and to the viewer, not just in front of them.

It’s a high bar, but we believe it’s why our experiences get millions of views.

CREATING FOR SAMSUNG

Years ago, we worked with Samsung to create the VR Teleporter and VR Postcards. We're excited for the chance to make history with them again.

Luckily, our team is on the cutting edge of AI integrations, working with clients like Reid Hoffman and EQUINOX to deliver highly-specialized implementations.

 

Our big idea?

VIEWERS SPEAK DIRECTLY TO PEOPLE IN THE EXPERIENCE

We aren't talking about CGI or fake AI avatars. We simply film a few versions of key scenes, and provide dynamic options for content—like a choose your own adventure with video.

This would provide a truly cutting-edge experience.

JOIN THE CREW

Simon welcomes you to the Academy and you're just in time! One group is down a member and you're going to join them!

 

From vocal lessons to choreography to scene study and more, each episode pairs you with another member of the group, practicing skills in real time, learning about life at the Academy, and choosing different pieces of the musical composition.

The final episode incorporates all your decisions from previous episodes into a live performance with you onstage, surrounded by your team,performing the song that you created along the way!

Beginning with a personal welcome and 1:1 interaction with Simon Fuller, the viewer then chooses a student or teacher to guide them through a fun-filled day at the Academy.

Each episode highlights different aspects of AOP, offering authentic behind-the-scenes moments.

Every episode ends with options to continue experiencing all the Academy has to offer!

OCULUS MOFAD EXPERIENCE

TECHNICAL APPROACH

Our LA All of our footage is shot stereoscopically with 8K resolution per eye (7680x7680), and optimized for the maximum resolution per device.

We are one of the few teams in the world who have mastered branching narrative production in VR with seamless continuity.

In post-production, we calibrate the horizon, color-correct, stitch all footage together, add additional stabilization for any movement, remove shadows, tripods, dollys, and any other equipment from the shot, color correct, add titles/motion graphics, build footage into non-linear experience software, sound design the eperience end-to-end, and finally test everything in-headset to ensure it meets our high standards for a comfortable viewing experience.

Different headsets and 360 video platforms each have varying levels of spatial audio support, so we create mixes for each platform to give your audience the best immersive experience possible.
